David Cassidy - strengthen my love

~~ random best ~~

David Cassidy - strengthen my love (1977)

from his album: 'Classic Songs'

Dear, come to my side

Strengthen my love
When I feel deprived,
You strengthen my love
Your womanly touch
helps to get me through so much
oh darling, you strengthen my love

Breath, close to the air and

About to give up
Stand by me my friend
Strengthen my love
Speak soft with your eyes,
Help me get my spirits high babe
Oh darling, strengthen my love

You, you strengthen my love

Oh you, you strengthen my love

Here in the dark by your side

I feel warm and full of hope
I can't care, I can't go,
and our love overflows
Love overflows

Hold tight to me now

Feel my heart reaching out
Oh darling, you strengthen my love

Here in the dark by your side

I feel warm and full of hope
I can't care, I can't go,
and our love overflows
Love overflows

You, you strengthen my love

Oh you, you strengthen my love

Shirley Jones

(updated 17/11/2012)

I was very excited I found this yesterday on YouTube. Shirley Jones on the 1971 American broadcast
'This is Your Life'.

Shirley Mae Jones (born March 31, 1934) is an American singer and actress of stage, film and television. In her six decades of show business, she has starred as wholesome characters in a number of well-known musical films, such as Oklahoma! (1955), Carousel (1956), and The Music Man (1962). She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing a vengeful prostitute in Elmer Gantry (1960).

She played Shirley Partridge, the widowed mother of five children in the situation-comedy television series The Partridge Family (1970–1974), co-starring her real-life stepson David Cassidy, son of actor Jack Cassidy. She and Jack married and they got three sons, Shaun, Patrick and Ryan.
